Knowing that you will have picked up this news already some time ago, I still deemed it just for me to serve you this. You know, there may always be people that missed it and shit.

7 Horns 7 Eyes, from Seattle, is an absolute novelty to me, but I guess that’s because their first record is yet to be released. Still, the band are leaving a major buzz across the web already. Quite an achievement, and I’m not quite sure what’s fueling it. Other than that the upcoming shit sounds hot, of course.

Their album to be released is titled Throes of Absolution and will contain a good serving of the band’s spiced up Progressive Death Metal. I’m not claiming to know what it will bring, but I’ve heard bits and pieces – which you will later on in this post too – and I can say I’m hearing Meshuggah-like syncopated and a-rhythmical chugging combined with the brutalest of brutal (but non-pig-squealing) Death Metal vocals. Try to think of Christian Älvestam’s dirty vox and you’ll know what I’m on about.

There’s a teaser thingy on YouTube that’ll serve you nearly five minutes of the band’s upcoming material. I suggest you enjoy the fuck out of yourself as you listen to it.

Moreover, the band earlier released an instrumental version of one of the album’s tracks. That’s called Divine Amnesty and is of a bit different setting. Slower, more conscious and melodic. It sucks my dick through my ears, brains and spinal system. Honestly.

7 Horns 7 Eyes is on Facebook. Their album will be released on April 23^rd through Basick Records. It will feature a guest performance by guitar virtuoso Jeff Loomis (ex-Nevermore) too. Just one more reason to consider buying this puppy.
