Arms of Enmity
Arms of Enmity have been hanging onto us via our Facebook page, but for some reason, they slipped through our queue, so firstly apologies for that! From what I see, I can conclude that Arms of Enmity are primarily a live band, with only two songs up, while they already exist since 2006.
Musically they fall somewhere between Hardcore Punk and Deathcore, if you don’t mind. Logically that would be Metalcore, but they are a tad raw and non-melodic for that. However, the playing is very tight, although sometimes they seem to struggle a bit with the rhythm, as they seem to falter at times.

Overall the two songs they have up on their Facebook in their basis sound pleasantly good. However, they don’t really pull the listener into them, as I went through them three times without noticing (as they were on autoplay). They don’t annoy the shit out of you on the other side either. So what I have for you are two songs, Legion and One Way Glass. Give them a spin and see for yourself.
If you like what you hear, make sure to check out and like their Facebook page! We’d also like to say that our Metal Heart goes out to the drummer, who broke his leg in a pit, what a warrior!

I can see what you mean with the rhythms. It’s like the recording of drums and riffs are slightly out of sync. It’s very subtle though. An interesting effect actually. It’s like their chugging away through quick sand and can stall to a hold any time.

Yea the recording came out pretty messed up cause the guy that recorder us was very lazy..and he didnt like to take his time fixing it..but were gonna hit the studio with some other producer for our full length E.P! but anyways thanks again for your thoughts and for the drummer!:)

Keep us in the loop on that EP! With a proper recording you’re much more likely to make an impression. Will it contain new songs or existing songs?

Well the e.p will contain both old and new. The old ones are going to be re-recorded completely. Mostly new songs though. The reason these sound a little off beat at times is because the guy that was recording us didn’t even have a metronome and the head phones I was using while recording drums were weak. But with the guy we will be recording with this time, is going to sound much better.

Good to hear it Abe! It is kinda handy to have some reference to play against, so I get why you guys got off-beat a bit. I’m confident it’ll turn out better. Keep us posted!

Yea, I couldn’t really hear the guitars much. I will for sure!
