Now for some fresh brutal Death Metal from the French band Antropofago, active since 2007 they’ve just self-released their first demo/EP. From that self-titled demo we have Human Hunt, which you can get free here.

Apart from conventions, joint nuclear research, diplomacy and shitloads of international organizations, they also do metalcore in Genèva. Swiss newcomers Promethee take care of that. After a never released demo in 2008, just about a month ago they released their self-titled debut EP. That features Over the Horizon.
Also check out their MySpace!
Thanks to the band’s bass player, Mat!

They’re Swiss, from Genèva, and play something in between melodeath and metalcore. Currently they’re a five-piece band, consisting of Ahmed, Nico, Nouchine, Jerem and Julien. That’s all I can tell you about these guys, so just listen to Reason Reigns.

Thanks to one of the band’s guitarists, Nouchine!

They are a pretty fresh band from Sweden, as Waste of Denial formed only in late 2008. Give this band some love, as they cannot yet afford to record real drumming on their demos, despite the fact that they have a drummer. Bludgeoned into Ignorance is about American serial killer Ted Bundy.
Once more, thanks to Kyle!

A relatively new group from Finland, going by the unorthodox name Rage My Bitch. This six-man band formed in 2008 and has already seen its share of tragedy with the demise of drummer Antti Pousi. My Art is Divine is a song partly written by Antti, off their 2009 demo release.

Fresh, French and five-headed. The melodic Death/black metal band Omega started in 2008 and released its first, six-track demo this year. Track no. 5 is called Palestine and features the oriental sounds the title anticipates.

This is a rather young Finnish melodeath band that is yet to finds its way to the ears of you and me. It seems these guys formed up around 2008, but I can’t say with certainty. Their five-track self-released EP Monument of Chaos came out in August 2009. Listen to the title track. It’s good for you.

Once Born Again is a young, no-nonsense melodic Death Metal band from the Ukraine (which marks a first here), formed in 2009. They haven’t released any albums yet, but two demo songs are up for listening on their MySpace. One of them can also be heard here. This is For the Killer.
Thanks to SoulBleed!

Damo, the guitarist in this band, came to me with some of their material for feedback and to ask me to post some of their stuff. Black Dawn Rising is a new group, originated in Ireland, that has been stepping into the realm of melodic Death Metal since 2009. This track is called Through the Eyes of Disdain and, amazingly, considering the sound quality, was recorded on an attic with a simple home PC to do the sound mixing. Great job guys!
