Commissioner
There’s this dude called Mitch Luckner, who fronts a band called Suicide Silence. There’s this other dude, named Cameron “Big Chocolate” Argon, who used to do vocal duties with a band called Burning the Masses and formed a band named Disfiguring the Goddess too. The two got together. And created a monster.
We thank SSTEVB for this monstrous suggestion!

Now obviously these chaps are vocalists, not musicians, and so they had to come up with something else to create songs, if it wasn’t going to be a pile of growling alone. Their project, called Commissioner, is like the Metallic form of Dubstep. Or the Dubsteppian version of Metal. Take your pick. In any case, it has the fucked-uppedness of either of the two, squared. Industrial and with groove and plenty of grunts and pig squeals. It’s pretty much like a speaker spitting out everything it’s ever played before, all at once.
I won’t foul too many words on giving you my opinion on this. It doesn’t really get to me, but that doesn’t mean someone else can’t find it totally “big”. So just have a shot of Commissioner yourself.
If you did find that “big”, visit their Facebook.

I really like that thought of combining Metal and Dubstep. This stuff sounds pretty cool but those stupid vocals destroy everything for me.
Anyway, I think there will be more bands like this in near future because there is so much potential in this combination.

I’m with you on the vocals. And I think you’re right with your second statement as well. Don’t think it’ll ever become a major genre or anything though. Metalhead tend to be too purist for it and fans of Dubstep would probably just prefer Dubstep.
