Divine Element
Divine Element is a Greek “Black Metal” band formed in 2002 who’ve released a demo in 2005 and a self-titled full-length in 2010. I quoted Black Metal because that’s what the Metal Archives lists as their genre. However, I don’t think that label does their music proper justice. Sure it’s blackened, but there are elements of many Metals present, including lots of folk/pagan/Viking type stuff and some out-right melodic Death Metal riffing too. I’m not sure what to call it myself, other than awesome, but it’s definitely far beyond “stock” Black Metal.

A Day for the Hunter, A Day for the Prey is the third track from the 2010 album. It’s also an epic musical journey twisting from melodic blackened aggression to sweeping acoustic infused passages without ever seeming disjointed. I’m not sure if the accompanying is an official video or not but it’s something to look at while you take in this ear massage.
Personally, I think that’s all the convincing one should need about these guys, but if you want more catch them at their Myspace, where they’ve tried to provide a free download link for the whole album, but the ass-faced myspace link police have stopped it from working properly. No worries though, I’ve done the homework and found the link for you. It is a .rar file so if you don’t have a program to open it I recommend 7zip, which is a free program that hasn’t let me down yet.

Thank you very much for your review and support!
As you have mentioned we give the album for free download by ourselves. We do that because we believe that music is for all to hear and judge if you like it or not and support or not the band.
Currently we are working on new material and I have to say that is beyond our imagination as it comes to life.
All of you who liked our first and want to hear more can contact us via mail at divineelementband@hotmail.gr to order a hard copy and support us to produce more quality music.
Thank you
Divine Element
PS. The video is official directed and produced by me and you did get the point of travelling
