Gathering the Troop: A Hill to Die Upon, Under Destruction and DeadSystem
A whole bunch of news has been coming to us over the past few weeks, and in there is something interesting for everybody: we have new videos, album teasers and new release dates coming up!
A Hill to Die Upon
Firstly we have American Blackened Death-outfit A Hill to Die Upon releasing an excellent debut video for the song Adept in Divinity, which is the lead single off of their latest release Omens. The video is fabulously executed and available in HD below, containing blood drinking chess players, warlocks, and the brothers Cook play the song. Adept in Divinity itself is pure Blackened Death Metal of the highest degree; both Michael and Adam are fabulous musicians.
I not only posted the video, but below also a stream of the album Omens, because really, more people should know about this awesome band.
Under Destruction have been featured before before, but now they are back with an album teaser, which is accompanied by a release date and a fabulous album cover. The teaser itself contains little information, other than a solid piece of Death Metal riffing. The album cover (below) however is a different story, as its a very intriguing piece of art.
The album will contain 11 tracks and will be released the 29th of september:
Last up are German Melodeathers DeadSystem, whom we spoke of some ages ago. Their upcoming full-length As I Fade is due soon, and the lads were kind enough to upload an extensive teaser video, featuring parts of the title track and a song named King of Red. Combined there is about four minutes of material, giving a fair impression of what we’re to expect: classic Gothenburg-Metal, reminiscent of In Flames and Soilwork.
