Head Banger’s Kitchen
Today’s Sunday and according to good Christian belief that’s a resting day. Normally we care about zero squat zippo about that sort of stuff, but we came across an item that we wanted to feature and believe Sunday is the best of the week’s days to do that on. Sunday’s a time for a relaxed sit-down, extensive cooking and a good conversation with your family.
Exactly what Sahil Makhija, a.k.a. The Demonstealer, whom we know as being the front man of our favorite Indian band Demonic Resurrection. He cooks Metal food, like fuckin’ burgers – did he fuckin’ know that’s my favorite food?! – then sits down with brothers of Metal, members of well-known Metal bands, and has an interesting conversation. Simple!
You kill two birds with one stone with this one. 1) You learn more about the bands in question, and 2) you get some kick-ass fuckin’ recipes to cook yourself. I mean, know what you’ll be chewing up for dinner yet tonight?! Provided that you’ve got a 24/7 supermarket nearby, perhaps Sahil Makhija can induce some good ideas in your head: burgers anyone?
We’ve got episode 1 lined up for you, but be sure also to check the official Head Banger’s Kitchen website, where you can find the next episodes as they become available.

In episode 1 of Head Banger’s Kitchen, Sahil makes what he calls Demonic Burgers, including a mushroom massacre. Obviously it’s not as Metal or delicious as our own Bass Drop Deluxe a.k.a. The 808Burger, but it’s getting pretty goddamned close!
Then after his own little cooking show, Sahil guests come over, being the full fuckin’ outfit of the Dubai-based Death Metal band Nervecell. Not fuckin’ bad for a start! We’ve got the full episode lined up for you below in three pieces.
I personally loved all those flowery bowls and the extensive use of low fat products. Very Metal!
Now, if for some unbeknown reason you don’t feel like fuckin’ burger tonight, perhaps you fancy one of Sahil’s other recipes, which you can find at the official Head Banger’s Kitchen website. It’s an awesome site and well worth a visit!

Demonstealer is a very cool dude, no doubt — though the dimples detract from the demonicness
. And I’m glad this finally pushed me to watch one of his cooking videos. It will be tough to top the Bass Drop Deluxe burger, but that Demonic Burger looks very fucking strong, you must admit. And adding gin to the potatoes is a new one for me. I’m curious about how that tastes.
I love Nervecell, and that was a cool interview to watch, too. Thanks for some quality entertainment Niek!
