Metallo alla Genovese
Despite that there’s no meat in it, I still quite dig a proper Pasta alla Genovese. Basically it’s pasta pesto. Fuckin’ tasty and bound to keep your girlfriend off of kissing for a while, so that you don’t have to stop headbanging. Turns out today, thanks to a suggestion by HarveyD, that there’s also such a thing as Metallo alla Genovese and that it’s equally delicious.
Ready, Set, Fall! Is, you’ve guessed it, from Italy’s city of Genoa. That’s in the North, close to France and Switzerland, by saying which I’ve not only told you interesting stuff about the band, but also updated your geographical understanding of the boot-shaped European country. Seriously, are we good for fuckin’ everything or what?!

Anyway, the band deals in something in the grey area between Metalcore and Melodeath, probably more towards the latter. Has a bit of a mechanical style too, at least the stuff I’ve heard. It’s proper stuff. Very proper!
Can’t find too much about them in the short time window I’ve got open, but I’ll just let the music do the talking. It’s awesome. Here’s a very sweet fuckin’ video for a song called Skyscrapers. Intro is fuckin’ awesome too and nearly made me crap my panties laughing.
Check out the band’s Facebook page here.

Yeah I liked it too, despite that the chorus is a bit standard.

I groaned when I heard the chorus the first time — not another clean-singing metalcore band! But then it really grew on me. Dude can sing as well as growl. I wanna hear the full song, not just this radio edit. And I wanna see how the video ends!

True, it’s awefully short. Italian radio stations must be very impatient. On the other hand, if they broadcast this I’d trade them for every Dutch radio station there is.
Somehow the guy reminds me of Björn Speed Strid

I think his clean singing is better than Speed’s.

Indeed, his cleans are
