Anyone who even just occasionally reads the crap that I spill when announcing a band or new vid or some other shit knows HarveyD is quite the spammer. The guy keeps on sending us suggestions for bands to check out and I fuckin’ love him for it, despite that his suggestions are often of questionable nature and I’ve more than once asked myself where he finds his bands, as they tend to be quality picks in a sea full of turds. Quality turds. I made one myself this morning.

His picks tend to come from ‘The Core’, for which some Metalheads would instantly shoot him. Harvey knows it too, because he says ”this one is slightly more enjoyable in my opinion. But then again, I tend to like the bands that everyone hates.” But fuck, in all seriousness, I don’t generally give a shit about something being ‘Core’ or not, as it’s just a matter of definition. As long as it listens away pleasantly I’m game.

So I was game today, with a band called Molotov Solution. Bunch of chaps from Las Fuckin’ Vegas. The name kicks cunt for one. However, listening to the music I must say that it pretty much is the most generic picks among generics. Nothing fuckin’ special that you’ll remember it by. But, I also have to admit that I’m enjoying it. Not for its quality guitar work, head-raving drums or sophisticated structure. There’s none of this. Just a truck load full of aggression and mind-numbing violence. Standard recipe, forced down my throat with efficiency. Song’s called Awakening, now to be forced down your throat, stomach and finally colon. Turn it into a quality turd yourself.
