On offer today we have some Black Metal from Russia courtesy of Nabaath. Formed in 2002, these guys have managed to release only one full-length and two demos. Their second demo and the full-length are on offer for free download from the Nabaath site. Make the jump for a sample song from each of these releases and the link for the downloads!

Up first is Detonation 1961 from the 2008 demo, War Blasphemy. It opens with some bass riffing, which is unusual for Black Metal, before exploding into that familiar blast beat the genre is beloved for. It’s not all full-speed though, there are several tempo changes and some catchy parts on display too!

Next up is North from 2006′s Back of Beyond album. This one also features some variations in tempo and prominent bass playing, not to mention those riff-tastic guitars and pounding, blasting beats under beautifully blackened snarls. The actual song only makes up about half the run-time of this vid.
