New Metal… and Something Unrelated
Sat, 18/09/2010We start off this post with something completely unrelated, but so bizarre that I just have to share it. Ever seen a pheasant? You know, those big colorful birds looking not-so-smart out of their eyes? Turns out they don’t just look dumb, they are dumb! I can tell, because one flew straight into my face the other day. And it wasn’t flying slowly either when it did, cause it hurt. Felt a bit like getting head-raped by a watermelon…
Anyway, I’ve been busy working this week, so I didn’t have much time to go and collect, research and write about more good music. That’s why you’ve been without yesterday and I’ll doubt it’ll be the last time. But not today, because we’ve got something fresh lined up for you again.
What do we have? Canadian technical Death. Swedish modern Thrash. And some American alternative/rock stuff, because frankly, I don’t always need to assault my poor eardrums with the loudest of loud metal on the planet. The bands you’re about to hear are, in the same order, Augury, The Crown and Coheed and Cambria. Enjoy your Saturday!
