Xerath – Reform Part I
|
You take a solid amount of Gojira, you stirr through two bags of gothic and symphonic bits. Take Meshuggah, cut off its toe nails and throw those in as well. You add some female vocals and a bottle of light towards the end and you get England’s Xerath. This stuff is what Ali G likes to call “fresh”. The incredibly hoarse vocals make love to my ears and the atmosphere slowly but steadily depresses me. Until the light comes and makes clear that all isn’t as hopeless as it seems. |
